Project Description

Construction of a retail development over a live railway station at Isipingo near Durban; constructed using a precast structural frame and precast slabs the development covers some 24 000 m2 of retail and parking space. All precast elements were manufactured and assembled on site. One of the many challenges faced by the team was erecting the super structure over live power lines and an active commuter station.
